Should true Americans/ Patriots give up freedoms during a time of war?
I think that during a time of war, its true, everyone should do what they can to support our country. This means that you may have to give up things to help support, but i should not matter because in reality you will be gaining something from this. During earlier times of American, people were drastically effected when we were in battle, this was because of the drafts. I do not believe in drafts, but i do believe that we all can help, without being drafted. So, to answer the question if Americans should give up freedoms during a time of war, i say yes and no. Somethings your going to have to give up to help support, but i do not think that giving up all your freedoms during a time of war is completely necessary.
i like what alex had to say about the draft and that maybe even not enlisting but supporting in different ways was a message she was trying to get across and i also believe in that \. she makes good points and i also believe yes and no
ReplyDeleteI agree because during war everyone should try to help fight for their country so the freedom in America remains strong. Even if people do not want to physically fight, at least helping out should be an option.
